2016 In Review
I am only going to single out what I consider to be some of the stand out catches of the year. With four 60+ braces alone this year it’s going to be difficult to get everyone else in.
Seven in 48 hours to 55lb6oz.
Great session for Julien, seven fish to 55lb in 48 hours. Including one of the big commons and a stunning young 40lb fish recently stocked and pictured above.
Opening week round-up
With fish showing all over the lake it didn’t take long for the fish to start slipping up. A lot of the fish have been in the shallower water over the previous few weeks so it did not surprise me that peg 7 opened the season with three fish banked and two lost on opening night.
End of year Review
I think you’ll all agree it’s been a great year to have fished Ribiere and 2016 is shaping up to be just as good. For me it will also be the year that I’ll move out on site. So hopefully I’ll be seeing many of you on the bank. I thought I ‘d start this newsletter with a review of the year and try to give you all a feel for the way it’s gone before quickly looking at improvements for the future
New Year at Ribiere
